Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. They help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.
2. How Lumira Uses Cookies
Lumira uses a minimal set of cookies. Most are strictly necessary to operate the site and process purchases. On our marketing pages (the quiz and advertorial), we also use a small number of advertising cookies to measure the effectiveness of our ads — see Section 3 for details. We do not sell your data.
The cookies we use fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for core site functionality, including checkout and login. The site will not function properly without these.
- Session cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser. Used to maintain your session during checkout and account access.
- Preference cookies: Remember choices you make on the site, such as your login state.
3. Third-Party Cookies and Tracking
Certain services integrated into Lumira set their own cookies or tracking technologies:
- Payment processing (Stripe): Our payment processor may set cookies to detect fraud and securely process your payment. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Hosting (Vercel): Our hosting provider may set functional cookies for performance and security.
- Meta Pixel: On our marketing pages (including the quiz and advertorial), we use Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may set cookies from Facebook/Meta.
- ClickFlare: We use ClickFlare for advertising attribution, which may set tracking cookies to associate visits with advertising campaigns.
We do not sell your personal data. These services are used only to measure our own advertising performance and are limited to our marketing pages. Our customer portal (portal.lumira-app.com) does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
California residents: For privacy requests including inquiries about data sharing, email support@lumira-app.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line.
For more detail on our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
4. How to Control Cookies
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (like checkout) from working correctly.
